The Maïdo Viewpoint

The Maïdo is situated up in the mountains of St Paul, and is home to one of the island’s most spectacular views over the Mafate Cirque and much of the west coast. The journey up there is a fine excursion in itself, as the drive takes you through one of Reunion’s beautiful tamarind forests.
