La Sucrerie du Gol     

During the sugar harvesting campaign, the Sucrerie du Gol sugar factory offers guided tours and an opportunity to discover the secrets of sugar production. Unique and exciting visits are run from July to December, explaining every stage involved in the transformation of cane into sugar. Visitors are taken on a visual, olfactory and gustatory journey to the heart of the sugar manufacturing process: from the delivery of canes, grinding, evaporation and crystallisation through to the production of sugar crystals! Tours from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. during the sugar harvesting campaign. There are also night tours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Tastings and sales of products at La Boutik shop. For safety reasons, the Sucrière du Gol only accepts visitors over 7 years of age. The tour is not recommended for asthmatics, people with mobility problems, who suffer from the heat or who are very afraid of heights. Prices: adults: €5 per day, children: €3.
